This years math class helped me with my PBAT a lot. I was able to learn how to find the minimum value on a calculator, which I later needed on my PBAT. I was also able to learn how to graph, and practice presentation skills due to group work and sharing out.
Yes i do actually want to send my letter to the company.
A few things that could change is the the way the PBAT is set up. There could be a little bit more order when putting sections together.

Exit Slip 4/8/10 !!
The expressions were able to be written in google docs. I completed these expressions by going to google docs, opening up a document, clicking on insert then scrolling down to equation. A/fter pressing "insert equation" i want to the fourth box set of equations which has fractions, square root symbols, to the power of 2 symbols. I clicked on which symbol i was trying to use and typed my numbers into the appropriate spots and clicked insert then the equation appeared on the google docs form.

1) the overall task of todays lesson was to find the minimum surface area of your personal can.
2) It is necessary to find the minimum surface area of our can because that is the basis of this PBAt. We have to minimize the surface area without minimising the conduct of the product, and by seeing the minimum surface area we will be able to see how small our can will actually be.

The new surface area is going to be used for this project when determining the height for my can, and simplifying my function. The ultimate goal is to apply the new functiion and solving for the height to your can.
2. I would use this function to visually represent the relationship between the height by changing it and showing the difference between the surface area.

1. It is necessary for us to combine two formulas, because we need these formulas in order to include them in our can experiment. We would also need to combine two formulas, because we need to know all the possible measurements that will be included in the project
2. If i was to apply the same skills for my can i would need to find the surface area and volume formula for a cylinder. When i recieve my results I will then include the expressions into my project which will make it possible for me to find the answers to the formula.

Exit Slip 11.4
The overall task of this PBAT is to find the radius, height, volume, surface area, of a can. Once you find all these values we will put the equation in on a computer program and play with different volumes of the same can.

The important concept about today's lesson was learning how to find the height using radius and volume.
I used a calculator today. A calculator was helpful because it helped me to multiply my big numbers. Using the tool made my life easier because i didn't need to use a pen and paper to multiply my numbers.
